Definition: Anger Anger is a strong emotion of displeasure, directed towards a real, or imagined grievance.
Anger is one of the most powerful emotions and people who are frequently angry are more likely to have heart attacks and other health problems than people who have learnt to respond to situations in a calmer way. Further information It is quite apparent how anger can damage relationships, and that is bad enough. But anger has also been shown to be terribly damaging to the heart, especially in men. When you become angry, the pumping efficiency of the heart drops, often
seriously, leading to arterial damage, making anger management one of
the most important emotional skills. |
