Definition: Insomnia Insomnia is either the inability to fall asleep or remain asleep throughout the night. Insomnia can be symptomatic of other conditions including stress, anxiety, depression and pain. In some cases insomnia can be just a habit. Environmental factors such as noise and light can also be a factor in insomnia.
Insomniacs tend to feel exhausted, irritable and have trouble concentrating. Poor sleeping patterns may also affect the immune system. Further information | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
