Hi THRIFTY

Fantastic, well done.
I was a smoker myself, so i know how it felt, that sense of achivement is amazing.
You and that precious life inside of you are now free of that nicotine, i wonder how your baby would thank you now that he/she is also free of the weed.
If in the future those cigarettes try to con you into thinking you need one, just put a post on here, you'll find lots of support.
All the best

Great work Zoe. If the nicotine parasite tries to convince you to start again, you can ask it to ask your baby if that's OK! I'm sure you know the answer it will get!

I wonder just how much better your baby feels now that it its oxygen supply is improving, and those poisonous chemicals are reducing in concentration. It must be like breathing fresh sea air! Very Happy

Hi zoe,  Reply with quote

Sorry to butt in.

You know, every time I visited the midwife during my 3 pregnancies I had to bleach the nicotine from my fingers so I didnt feel too embarrassed to see her.

Its a revolting habit that I wish I could have addressed when I was pregnant.YOU HAVE DONE IT!! I am so proud for you and of you!
I look at my kids now. between 3 and 9 years old, and know this wouldnt have been such a hard jump...If only I had realised!!!!

Remember that that nicotine free breastmilk is also a long term legacy to your child! (The colic in my babies was awful and I always look back with regret.) I wish I had realised this earlier! You are preparing yourself and your child for the best possible future!

Enjoy yourself, look after yourself, and build yourself up for the wonderful months ahead!

Good on you Zoe!
