there's something my boyfriend, who's 30, does that bothers me and he doesn't give me a reason why. so i've decided to ask here. so hopefully someone can give me some insight. whenever i'm on the phone with a friend of mine or sometimes hanging out with a friend and my boyfriend is there he'll come out with perverted/vulgar things, like sexual things, to say like it's funny. it's not like he does this every once in a while. he'll do it more times than not. it makes me wonder if he feels it makes him look good in some way.. i don't know. i really can't even come up with an explanation. could it be insecurity?
Probably a mix of insecurity and attention-seeking. He maybe thinks you and your friends think he is funny when he does this - a bit of a lad. Tell him in no uncertain terms that you think this is pathetic and hopefully he'll stop.
I might be wrong though. See what others on here think...
