Positive citalopram stories!!  Reply with quote

[[size=18][b]b]Today was my first day. I stood staring at the side effects and finally plucked up the courage to take it. I immediatly felt terrified that i had just taken a pill that might be laced with poison cause the person at the factory might be nuts. I think though that might be me!!

I dont think rationally anymore. My imagination is wild and its interfering with my wellbeing,,, Please i need positive help and guidence.

Come be my voice of reason,, I really aint a nutter but by gosh it feels like it Sad

kimmi, nobody thinks you are a nutter, it weird how our thoughts can work, i remember in the early days of anxiety and panic disorder i would have weird thoughts, like the world was out to get me, that i was stuck in a world like that Jim Carrey movie (i forget the name of it), that there were demons on the TV, dark thoughts, dark places...

let's just say i don't feel like that anymore...reassuring huh!

There are millions of people taking anti depressants in the world and millions of people have benefited from them.

Yes some people have side effects others don't its the same with any drug.

Think positive you are doing the right thing.

Hey kimmi I would keep taking your meds I have had anxiety and depression I am really struggling with going out at the moment but I am seeing a cbt trained psychologist and taking 40mg of citalopram I split it half in the morning and half at night. I think I'm a tiny bit better, if you do find after about 6 weeks its not working speak to your doc before making any big decisions. I wish you and everyone else on here who's struggling all the best of health. Timx
