Food For Thought: Regrets/The Past
Anther thing I read a lot on this forum is that there's no point looking back. But how can I hope to change a behaviour if I don't try to identify and learn from previous mistakes, which inevitably involves looking back on my life.

Every man's life lies within the present, for the past is spent and the future is uncertain.
Don't brood on what's past, but never forget it either.
Thomas H. Raddall
Accept everything about yourself--I mean everything. You are you and that is the beginning and the end--no apologies, no regrets.
Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets.
There are no regrets in life, just lessons.

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness.
We learn courage by going forward whenever fear urges us back.
Look back to learn how to look forward.
Self-discipline is when your conscience tells you to do something and you don't talk back.
Between tomorrow's dream and yesterday's regret is today's opportunity.
