Dizziness Phobia?!  Reply with quote

first of all I have posted before. here are my symptoms hopefully these are panic attacks:

1.)Falling sensation, feel like you are falling or dropping? Dizzy? idk

(I experience a sudden and brief episode where I feel like i am dropping or falling, as if in an elevator, yet I am standing on a firm floor or ground.
felt in the head alone, or may feel as if my entire body is falling or dropping.)

2.) My left ear feels clogged and sometimes they ring after I am done with my falling sensation.

3.) head feels like pressure build up or headaches
4.) shortness of breath

5.) tired after
I have tons of symptoms but I have been obsessing over this dizzy feeling it really scares me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone else get this? how do I stop this?

also,I had a small abnormal palp on an ecg and I have been panicing about this aswell

Maybe it's an inner ear problem. Your equilibrium could be thrown off.

I've been diagnosed with panic disorder and let me tell you just as you think you have it under control a new and frightening symptom emerges and sends you into an attack. The falling sensation happened to me today while i was at walmart. My five month old daughte was with me and I all of a sudden felt my head and chest become heavy and then a rush of adrenaline. All I could think is thank God there are people are to rush to my side and take care of my daughter. It went away after about 10 seconds but left me paralized with fear.

I also get dizzy. But I often wonder it this has to do with my sinus.

Also, recently I have been experiencing the shortness of breath. Just feeling like Im not taking in as much air as I should be.

Ive been dealing with this for over 5 years now. Researching online - all the way to the temporal lobe and the amygalda and the correlation they have to panic and anxiety. And when an attack starts I dont feel myself freak out I just simply say breath and get through it, it cant hurt you. 98% of the time this DOES NOT work Sad When I go through days of anxiety I take on yet another sypmtom and that is depression. I have a daughter who is my life and my joy. I lost my mother at 18 so I pray everynight that I dont leave her on this earth alone.

Anyways....sorry for the novel. But rest assure it sounds as if you are having panic attacks. I know alot of people are against taking medicine and if they can go about their daily life with out it that is wonderful. Unfortunately in my case my attacks are so disabling I have to take it. In fact I just took 1mg of Klonopin becuase I have been having chest pains and pressure all day (not to mention feeling like I was falling over in Walmart) and when I was trying to go to sleep I could feel the adreniline raging through my body. I hope this helps. Go see a doc about some meds even if its just part time and then I suggest a coucelor. Medicine is just a bandaid...Good Luck and God Bless I will say a prayer for you!

Alicia

p.s as far as the pap try not to worry untill you get the test results back. Otherwise you could be worrying for nothing and adding to your anxiety issues.

At the risk of sounding pompous, she is referring to an abnormal palpitation.

LMAO!!!!!!

omgosh, not PAP I wrote PALP like as heart PALPS LOL!!!!!!

I had an abnormalp palp on my EKG and I resently lost a pregnancy a week and 5 days ago.

I dont always feel crappy but lately I have been getting pressure headaches and feeling dizzy SCRATCH THAT..not dizzy but I feel like i am falling. when I pinch my nose by my eyes the pressure feels better. I also feel it in the throat.

I was told it was anxiety by the last two visits to the er I went to the er i always go too byt last friday I went to a diffrent er hospital and they did an x-ray of my chest which said everything was fine -and my chest pains werent caused by my heart. - they did an EKG and it had abnormal palpatation JUST ONE and one of the drs said it could be wpws BUT this is the same er room that held my sister for 3 days thinking her panic attacks where caused by a blood clot to the lung. mind you they asked me if I ever had them and i said NO! you'd think if they thought it was bad they would keep me right?

well.....idk, they found out I didnt have medical and they sent me packing after and told me to go to a cardio dr that I was most likely fine BUT you know how much those tests would be!? hundreds of dollars I DONT HAVE!!!!!
