I work in the substance abuse field right now and I have been in a serious relationship for about two years. There is this lady that I work with that I that acts weird around me and other people. On our first day at the job, she has offended every worker there by talking about how bad they dress, how they need to lose weight, etc..
This girl has been diagnosed bipolar and has admitted to having a previous drug addiction to cocaine. This woman also has tried very hard for people to like her by going out of her way and doing weird stuff. For example, my honey and I work at the same place but she would bring him a banana everyday for breakfast and every once in awhile she bring me makeup samples that she gets at the makeup counter. My honey told me that he thinks that it is weird that she was bringing him bananas everyday so I started bringing him bananas daily and she stopped doing that.
Well anyway, since the first day this woman would make comments to me that were out of the ordinary like, "You've had experiences I've never had." Or when I brought my honey that banana's she would say, "Man, she beat me to it." My honey told me that this girl was looking at me up and down one day when I walked by. Every once in awhile I'll turn around and I will catch her looking at me.
Well, I am working on my master's degree in psychology and I will be finished by the end of next year. My current profession only requires an associate degree. If I decide to continue, I can have my tribe pay for my doctorate degree. I told a few coworker's that and they congratulated me and told me to help them when i finish. Well, I heard this woman tell a coworker that all psychologist are crazy.
This woman has even started a rumor between me and boyfriend by telling me that he was flirting with this other girl. When I know that is not the case. My boyfriend is the only guy that is young that we work with so I know that she is lying but she did cause an argument between us.
This woman has even split staff to the point when anyone confronts her she is the victim in everything.
This woman is crazy! My boyfriend and I are trying to keep the sanity and he has wanted to quit working because of the split in staff. We've reported her but my boss doesn't care she is more worried about the census. |

Why can't you ignore her? Receiving gifts from a person is giving them positive reinforcement. Stop accepting them. |
