I've been having problems with multi-tasking at work. My workplace is mainly manual labor, but I have a variety of duties I have to be on top of. I have no issue with focus, but I seem to have too much focus. I tend to have tunnel vision focus, in which I forget to stay on top of all my duties, but have no problem getting them done, often when I'm reminded by my co-worker. I have a strong work ethic and am not lazy, but I feel like I am focused to a fault. I have a hard time being aware of the bigger picture, so to speak. It's gotten to a point that my job in being jeoporadized.
I have a doctor appointment next week to see about going on medication. I also have anxiety issues that need to be regulated, which I think have something to do with it. Does anyone have any insight or advice? Again, I have no problem with focus, I'm just very forgetful about my job dutiies, and sometimes fail to accomplish them thoroughly.
