Fantasy can be better than visualizing something on your computer.

I used to think that porn was just two consenting adults having sex, probably faking it, but still consentual so it didn't matter. If you do watch a film, take a good look at their eyes. Usual the women's. Not only are they playing for the camera, the women look drugged in many cases. There is also a lot of porn advertising teens. Even if the girl or boy in the film are not really teens, the fact that they advertise themselves as such does make a difference. People are wanting to watch underage porn.

I'm not angel, and I've watched it in the past. (advertised adults and clearly so). I've been alone for the past twenty years, and don't look for women to have casual sex, so I figured porn was safe. What stopped me was the realized fact that they were quite possibly not happy with what they were doing as well as projecting the impression that women were only around for sex. I wondered If by watching, even free porn, was just helping promote this poor image of the women.

I can't and won't judge someone else who watches or uses porn for self gratification, bit I won't encourage it either. I think what you are doing is a great start. If you can stop or whittle down how much you watch, most likely you will find you don't need it anymore. Then you will be fee to improve your own relationships.
