Hypnosis for performance works?

Hey guys, I found your forum at Google and willing to get expert opinion.

I am a sports person and looking to improve my game and someone suggested to try hypnosis. Does hypnosis effective for better performance?

Hey! Great question. Hypnosis and self-hypnosis are the most powerful ways imaginable to achieve your performance goals.

There are three main reasons people under perform: the negative, internal self-talk; the visual images of failing at a task in the future; the fear based memories of past performance failure. The distinct quality these three things have in common is that all three occur at the subconscious level of mind. Even when it is consciously realized that self-sabotage is taking place, it is still challenging to correct, because you cannot CONSCIOUSLY correct SUBCONSCIOUS behaviors.

The change work MUST be done at the subconscious level, for this is where all beliefs, fears, habits, and behaviors originate.

It is well known and difficult to argue against the fact that, hypnosis is how trained professionals access a clients subconscious mind by bypassing the minds critical faculty and delivering precise hypnotic commands the subconscious will obey.

Effectively delivered hypnotic commands, suggestions and post-hypnotic suggestions, along with other methods, will always yield substantial improvement in performance.

Pay attention to your habits:

Now you didnt tell what sports but for example In football : You dont want bad habits on your game
I would not recomend to experiment with something that can complicate your game: you always want to have clear ideas what you need to do

Make confidence a habit: when shoot the ball always do it like this will be the best shot you ever made

Now someone may be like: i cannot shoot the ball like someone else did it: but your not looking for what someone else did all you look for is best of what you can be

And is important to allow oneself to make mistakes: in sports like football it can never be perfect its always lots of mistakes happen so that is part of the game if you dont allow onself to make mistakes you not allow to play
