High Blood Pressure - 11 months later

Postby Hoofhearted » Tue Oct 17, 2017 12:13 pm

I've had this problem ever since i quit smoking pot in November 2016. My blood pressure has gone up by 20+ points and now is been sitting at 145/80. I'm a fit 24 year old male, i weigh 175lbs and am 5' 9".

I can hear my blood pump in my ears when i lay down for bed and can even feel my heart pumping when i'm doing absolutely nothing. At first my symptoms were more physical, it was painful in my chest and gave me anxiety constantly. Now the anxiety is gone and pain is gone, but my high blood pressure remains...

I was hoping my blood pressure would go down by now. Has anyone else had this issue?

Is it possible to have high blood pressure without noticing any discomfort symptom except ringing ears as it is in my case

Yeah I also have tinnitus in my left ear. As far as being anxious, I have almost zero worries. I love my job/life. Just been fighting high blood pressure for some reason.

Desperate788, you have any success with your tinnitus/blood pressure?

Glad your stress test came back fine. Could’ve been the added stress and anxiety
