Haven't you talked to him about that yet? I thought it would be the first thing he'd want to know.

He knows you have problems, or you wouldn't be in therapy. All you have to do is relax with him and tell him what's bothering you.

The question is, where you learned the habit of worrying. From what you've said, I think it was the tension you felt between your parents when you were a little boy.

It's more like a bad habit, or an addiction. Any action repeated over and over every day for years has an effect on the physical structure of the brain. In other words, you've got a lot of momentum going in the wrong direction. For you, there's always something to worry about. Other people, even in horrible situations, believe there's always something good to think about.

Your therapist is well aware of this. It's his job to rein you in and get you thinking along more positive lines.

It's glad to know therapist is aware of the situation.

Just had the session..was a good one. He sent me a relaxation recording and told me to listen that before I sleep..He says he will deal with my disturbing memories..

Yes, I think it's a great day for a walk, or some other outdoor activity you enjoy.
