OMG, you've opened up a can of worms here, my girl.

From a woman's perspective, when a man says this I think he means that the woman is insecure in herself and his affections and needs constant reassurance.

Boys, what say you?

well whatever it is, i read on askmen.com, that if your woman isnt 'needy and clingy' that it is a good sign that she is cheating. so i guess 'needy and clingy' is a trait of a 'normal' woman.

Hahaha!

There's some truth in it GM... I've only met a handful of truely confident women - who were comfortable in their skin and not needy and clingy. Out of all the ones I knew the sexual habbits of, they all cheated in some of their relationships. (I'm not saying all non-needy&clingy women are like that - but from experience, the majority in that category are)

It's funny that during these three months, I've been seeing a few guys and despite the fact that I've made clear from the very beginning that I am not looking for a relationship, just fun, they have all turned out to be clingy as hell. I don't think clinginess and neediness is a gender thing. This is my experience.

LMAO... another tainted pearl of wisdom gathered on askmen.com, gomen?

As grim a subject as this may be, i cannot help but find the content of this thread rather entertaining.

On the subject... i agree with PGW's definition, nothing to add.

And yes, it's hardly a 'women only' issue.
