As the title says. I'm done with my life.

Yet you posted, which is a clear statement that you don’t actually believe what you wrote. A person who wholeheartedly, without any reservations, believed he or she was done, would have no need to make such a declaration.

My advice is to take some time to reflect on why you don’t truly believe you are done. What is it that made you return to this page and read this reply?

That's a clever reply, for some. Even text book maybe. I don't know, I'm not a psychologist. Thank you for your input.
But it also shows me that you don't understand.
Ending your life can be a direct or an indirect action. Not everyone who wants to die, also wants to kill themselves. We are still afraid of death. The problem is, we just don't want to live anymore.
We want life to stop.
Because just being alive every day, is too painful, too scary, too desolate a place.
So for some of us, it's a matter of closing your eyes every night and hoping tomorrow doesn't come.

And yes. Posting here has a reason.
Its that last tiny hope that you find someone who gives you enough energy to open your eyes every morning. Someone who completely understands the pain. Someone who will make you feel less alone.

No wonder you struggle. You expect others to give you something. And then you will determine if what they have given you is sufficient enough to open your eyes.

I already gave you something with no expectation of anything in return. I already gave you a part of my life. And once again I’m here giving you more of my life. Is that not sufficient?

I understand.

This kind of feeling happens in a lot of people, to varying degrees. Life is painful, hard, sad, full of unbelievable trails, and yet full of hope. I see that you posted so you want it to be known how you feel, and I am here to tell you that I hear you. Even if what I say doesn't help, know that I am at least trying to help. Life can get overwhelming, and whatever the struggle is that is in your life, only you can change it. It is up to step up to life, and show it who is boss. If you have specific things you need to discuss, I would be happy to help. I am a self esteem mentor, I am here to show you how to improve how you feel about yourself, no matter what.

We are all tired, we are all in some sort of crisis, and we all should be able to have each others backs. So I am here to listen and to help if you need.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. You are loved and you are important because you have breath in your lungs. You have a purpose and you have time to discover that purpose- discover the things you love and find true happiness. I know that life is so hard sometimes, I truly understand. It’s hard to pick ourselves back up when we keep falling over and over but my friend there is hope. There is help. There is still time to find yourself, there is still time to better yourself. There is still time to find true friends and create the best memories.

Title: I'm tired of living another day

As the title says. I'm done with my life.

You are not done when it's not your turn yet.

Death is funny. I saw many people wanted to live forever, and boom, they died suddenly, very fast. And many people wanted to die and even tried to kill themselves in harmful ways, but they still lived for a long time. They just could not die because either they did not really have guts to kill themselves totally, or when they were almost successful to kill themselves but someone came to rescue them. So they had to continue to live.

Everybody born to this world for a purpose or by fate. Most of the times you don't have a choice to choose to live or die. You can choose to find purpose or rely on fate. That's your choice.

When you want to find purpose, you have to be proactive. If you want to rely on fate, you are reactive.

In this world, lots of people want to help others. And if or when you want or need help, you can go to find help, but you have to help yourself too. If you say you don't need any help, that's fine, do whatever you want, don't whine to get attentions and still say "I don't need anybody to help me." Even in religion, there's a saying "God helps those who help themselves."

I learned a long time ago that the only thing you control in your life is yourself. That is a very difficult issue for people to embrace. People feel they can control their jobs, their relationships, their reputations, even their future that is not yet written. And what we watch on television and movies really perpetuates those irrational ideas. Well, none of that is true.

Everything I mentioned - jobs, relationships, social opinions, etc are all transient. Other people have say and input in those matters. And then you have matters that are not governed by anyone's opinion. You can be the most fit amongst your peers and fall prey to a disease or get hit by a car and become crippled. ANYTHING can (AND DOES) happen in life. What you control is how you want to respond to it.

I know a number of people who live miserable lives. Sometimes they even know what the problem is, but there is something within the problem which they covet, so they remain unmoved. When those people come up to me and ask why nothing changes, I tell them, " You haven't had enough yet." And that's largely true. People move when they're ready to move. Depression itself has a comfort pocket. It's easier to define the villains than to accept ownership for our own participation.

So saying you've had enough is really a moment for self examination. Have you had enough or are you ready to let go of what you've clung to in the midst of all this? YOU ONLY CONTROL YOURSELF. Look at things as they are and not what you want them to be. If this is not what you want it to be, then move away from this environment and start new. Divorce yourself from the people and vices that have held you down and accept that now you must move on with a new reality of what you want to do, devoid of those traps that kept you from getting there.

Life consists on many tiers of starting over. There is no "perfect race". Massive change can come early in life and very late in life. What you need to understand is that this is not unique to you and you have to decide how you want to mange these changes or if change itself is the answer.

People get locked into these ideas of, " This is where I'm supposed to be now". That is a myth. You are where you are and you have to decide if you want to change the scenery as well as the false notions that everyone else is running a perfect race and you've fallen behind. Everyone has a truth in their life to face. Some own it and make changes, others embrace the lie and put on a show for the world.

And remember this - Its not how others see you that counts. Its how you see yourself devoid of their input that matters. You must love yourself first. Life is not a good measure of that because it can get really messy. So quit hating yourself because life is messy. Love yourself enough to clean up the mess and move on to better days. I wish you well.

And I was thinking why do they force people to live, if they don't want to. An exit pill would be the right thing to do, but it's bad for business.
