Day 155

Life is great! Everyday, I'm staying busy and growing in so many ways.
The temptation to smoke came and went a couple of times within the past few weeks, especially when the sun was out. During those moments, smoking seems so harmless. You remember all of the previous times that was so nice. But thankfully, along with those good memories, you also recall all of the reasons you quit - the crash that inevitably accompanies the high - the haze that lingers long after the good feelings are gone. It's just not worth it. Weed is just like any other drug in that it deludes you and leaves you feeling empty.

I don't think I could ever be so confident to think that I am "safe" from succumbing to temptation but as each day passes and after overcoming each temptation, I feel so much better about my decision to quit. It sure isn't an overnight process since I sure didn't get to where I am overnight. Stay patient, stay productive, and stay prayerful.
