Need someone to talk to

My friend, there was a time when your father was the focus of your worry, and that was followed by a long obsession with g until she married another man. Now it seems there's nothing in your life apart from your job and your mother -- and the job is a particularly pressured and isolating one. From what I understand, you're regularly sent to other towns where you don't know anyone, while your employer's focus is on productivity, making you meet increasingly tough targets and deadlines. The bosses don't care about you, apart from how much they can squeeze out of you before you collapse and can't work any more. It sounds like hell to me, and our friend Zeki told me he understood what you must be suffering.

Your job shouldn't be taking up the whole of your life. It's no wonder you're constantly going to the doctor with imaginary illnesses he can't possibly cure.

You've been Desperate since long before I signed up to the forum. You and I have been long-distance friends for years, and all I know about you is that you have a horrible job that prevents you creating a social world, and no girlfriend. In your free time you listen to music, watch movies, drink gallons of green tea, take various pills, and worry about where your life is heading. I can tell you where your life is heading right now: more of the same.

A week from today you're going to be 30, and all you do is worry. It's time for you to take drastic steps. Zeki is willing to advise you, but you have to approach him; he has no need to approach you. The only reason you think his English is better than yours is that he's been in England long enough to have the accent right. As far as I can tell, he can't write in English. You can.

I'm really sorry I messed up his mobile number and didn't get yours before he left to visit his family. If you had had his number while he was in Turkey, you could have talked to him more cheaply and maybe you could have met face-to-face.

I'm really trying to help you break out of your current lifestyle. Apart from 'talking' here, what do you think would be the most helpful thing I could do for you?

In fact there isn't much to chat, tomorrow I am going to work, unfortunately. Problematic works, idiot work friends and worry of various kinds wait for me there. I'm quite concerned about my minds health there has been intense pressure caused by anger to cleaning guy for a few days I must protect and heal my brain as it's precious but I damage it idiotically i am so lazy to make a salad I thought of ordering one but money is important. Anyways that's all from me for now

Old man, I had you in my birthday book as 1988, not 1978! Zeki was born in 1975, so he's about three years older than you. (I myself am 62 and most days I don't think of myself as old.) I'm sorry he didn't reply to your email, but he's never replied to a text from me, either. That's what made me think he can't write in English. Also when I asked for his email address he got his friend to write it for him.

I know you didn't talk to him for long and I'm thinking maybe you two speak different dialects. Is that right? You said he was "such a Turk"... I don't know what that means.

Maybe the whole Zeki thing was a blind alley. It's so funny, originally I sat at the table next to his in the coffee shop, and we were both on our own so we started talking. As soon as he said he was from Turkey I thought of you and started asking him all sorts of questions about how he came to be living in England, thinking there was a way of getting you here too. He said there is, but it isn't easy.

So it seems you've decided to stay where you are and slog on in your job.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your mind, just that you worry too much about your job and don't have enough going on outside work hours. Have you got friends and a social life? Friends on UF are great, but you need real-life friends too, and potential partners.

Good morning candid :) it's nice to start a day with friends messages. Indeed I'm getting old sad thing is my youth included mostly suffering except a few good days that I had by uf's help. I hope my remaining days bring happiness and joy. About zeki should I write him in English? Don't get me wrong I hate this job and I would like to live in England more than anything but I'm so unmotivated, lethargic and lazy..Some say I even can't talk  I really don't have friends I try sometimes but people are odd also I don't spend time out that's said to be harmful for my mental health I would like to do some outdoors activities indeed like a movie starbucks etc
