Do you wonder if some things were caused by your dark past?

I'm wondering if even mistakes seemingly unrelated to my traumas were caused by them. I mean, the old me was bad at holding in stress, and to an extent, it was a negative thing, but my traumas caused me to like, learn how to hold in stress, and by that, I don't mean healthy stress management, I mean hiding my feelings and letting them seethe, or just pretending to myself I was feeling nothing negative at all. There's no way the old me would have held such feelings in, I was too much of a brat to do that with negativity. And guilt is a form of negativity, so I believe that perhaps, if life did not happen, I would have chickened out when I wanted to do things that made me feel guilty.

Like, some things were more obviously connected to my traumas, and I know so because I totally remember my internal monologue, but other things are less clear.

For example, I'm wondering about when I was younger and I was a flasher on various chat sites. I remember that I practically had to numb my conscience to do it, and I wonder if the traumas that taught me how to numb extreme feelings had something to do with it.

Like, I know all about stereotypical things that traumatized people do, and I could see some of them in myself, but I'm wondering if even seemingly unrelated things were caused by my trauma.

There are healthy and unhealthy thought patterns. Both are habitual thought patterns. Both sets of thought patterns echo through our lives. Our unhealthy thought patterns can be changed, when we have had enough of suffering, we choose love, we choose forgiveness. Everything happens at the perfect time.
