Indeed my diet is awful lately..just lack will power..its getting worse everyday. When food is the only thing in your life it happens so. Life is too boring without food.

So change it. Go out now and get some good food.

Do you think if you keep saying (writing) that it will start to get better? Do you think UF members can give you willpower?

That really is pitiful.

I'm confused about fruits. At a book you recommended fit for life I think it is said to be you should eat fruits after 8 hours of regular food meal something like that it leaves no time to eat fruits. That info scam?

No no no!

Fit For Life breaks the day into three equal parts. Noon to 8pm is appropriation, when you do the bulk of your eating. 8pm to 4am is fasting, so you need to have dinner before then. 4am to noon is elimination. This is the time to eat fruit and nothing else, not even coffee (which is a FFL no-no anyway). So when you get up in the morning you have all the fruit and fruit juice you want. That passes through you very quickly, making your whole digestive system nice and clean. Therefore FFL also bans fruit salad for dessert, because if you put it on top of heavier foods it can't get through and starts fermenting there.

I did the fruit breakfast thing for a couple of decades and, just like the book said, I lost all the excess weight in the first month plus had heaps of energy. Then an accident 3½ years ago stopped me riding my pushbike everywhere and the weight came back. I'm not happy with my weight now and feel quite lethargic. Also I didn't give up coffee and fags in that time.

Because it's so cold in England now I've been having porridge for breakfast. I plan to reset, then do FFL again starting pretty much where I started last time. Maybe I'll actually stick to the rules this time!

I have some fruits at home. My last meal was two hours ago. Can I eat the fruits now?

You can -- and you obviously have -- it just isn't the FFL recommendation.

To expand on my previous post: have fruit and fruit juices from the time you get up until noon. Nothing else.

Do all your other eating and drinking between noon and 8pm.

Simple!

I love fresh pineapple!
