Was it 1 month of using oils? If so then I'm not surprised. I've said many times before here, oils/concentrates **** you up.

I "quit" using oils three times. First time I thought it would take a month to detox; it was a really bad month and I wasn't completely better but I started again thinking it was long enough. Smoked oils for 14 nights; not high 24/7 just at nights.

I quit that and the withdrawal was EXACTLY like it was before, as if I hadn't quit for a month. From 2 weeks of smoking oils. Well then I quit for 3 months, thinking that surely was enough. Smoked 12 nights in a row after that, and then quit. And guess what. Back to square 1 on withdrawals. Smoking oils for just a couple weeks is enough for paws to set in.

My theory, just based on experience, is that the time you are sober vs time high is important; your brain will rebalance itself if you are high all the time. And oils get you high for 5-10hrs, even if you only feel it for 2 or 3. So they are wary worse than bud.

Now I'm a bit different; not waiting X months to start again; never planning to use weed regularly ever again; and NEVER going to use oils again. I'm carefully monitoring my symptoms to see my progress.

Would have never guessed it would take almost year to get better. And never thought 2 weeks of smoking oils daily was enough to reset my paws clock to 0 and give me paws for 7+ months.

@SparkleFly12

Ive never smoked a spliff
The only thing i smoked was the thc vape.

I smoked for all together 8 month with 1 month of heavy use.

During those 8 months i quit twice but with no symptoms.

The last month was the month were used it heavy and when i quit that when i got withdrawal symptoms.

But in that month i used to be high all the time.
Like when i used to get up the first thing i smoked was thc vape. I use to be high alot of time and high doasge aswell.

The thing that stresses me out the most is that my ED issue will last forever i and will never be able to use my penis again.

That scares me and make my anixety and stress shoot up

Yeah being high from a concentrate vape 24/7 for a month will do it. I was high 24/7 for a week like that and then went on a 3 day vacation (no thc). Those were the worst 3 days of withdrawal ever. Felt symptoms I'd never felt before or since. And yes, in my experience it can take longer for your brain to heal than the number of days/months you were high for.

I have to say I was where you are now a couple months ago, worrying I'd never be able to have sex again. I even went further and got ed meds, which got me hard but didnt make me have a sex drive. And honestly I'd rather not have sex than do it like that, it was so hollow and boring.

If you look back at my posts a cpl months ago in this thread, I was freaking out too. But if you didnt have ED before smoking, you probably just need more time to heal. I haven't read a case where anyone want healed in time, and I've scoured the internet on this topic for over a year (this is the best place for info on it).

Day 70 for me

Mental health is getting better it has improved over the past couple of days.

My erection and libido is still an issue.

Penis still feel numb and can only get erection through physical simulation. Morning erection are kind of coming back.

But 1 thing that has improved is that i dont get weak erections anymore which is good.

Lets see how the next 30 days go till i hit 100.

@zzzz I just crossed 210 days. I never have days with zero libido anymore; but it fluctuates between low (erection problems) and normal now; every week or two at a time. Still more days low than normal. Bot hoping that will shift in the coming months.

Only day 9 for me but my erections in my crappy sleep are incredible! And my libido is coming back! WOW!

Just wish I could sleep better, but other than that...pretty much zero withdrawal, and this is coming off of an 18 month daily dabbing habit. My past flower vaping withdrawals were nothing short of hell on earth.

These very same things can cause erectile dysfunction. Perhaps managing these things will be more beneficial than waiting for PAWS to end. There's a possibility you conflate the two, so the PAWS will never end and your dick will remain as is? Stress is a boner killer

 I'm just offering another viewpoint because it seems everything is PAWS and if you believe it, it is. It may not be, it might be your emotional self and trying to pin it on PAWS just convinces people it's still active and messing them up. In my smoking career, I met hundreds of fellow pot heads. All my friends were and until I came on here I'd never heard of anyone feeling what people say here. I've said before I think it's more of what you smoked than smoked in itself. In my own experience I got more horny when I quit because I had more time as I wasn't chasing highs...

Day 228. 7.5 months. My libido has finally crept up enough to not have major erection issues. Certainly not as high as I remember it, but then again I used to be in my early 20s before I started smoking and probably had a higher sex drive.

Certainly notice myself observing women more, sort of strange now I need to learn to control what I look at in public again like you do when you're a teenager; since I've had low sex drive for a few yrs (due to weed) I haven't needed to.

Appreciate the update, and giving such valuable feedback and hope. I am 2 weeks free of THC, and finally getting the REM cycles and nocturnal erections. I still have very low libido and know it will be a long road ahead. With that said i'm fap/porn free for 6 months this week, and use cialis to have sex about once a week. Yesterday I was able to get somewhat aroused with 90% wood just by thoughts. But when my g/f is over, if I don't have cialis in my system, it's dead and numb down there which SUCKS.

I'm in it for the long haul, and will never abuse THC again, but I do want to converse with you about how much you will not go back to concentrates/extracts, and think bud is better. The thc doesn't get "stronger" in extracts, and my history is about 12 years of exclusively vaporizing weed, never above combustion point. I switched to low temp dabbing extracts off a ruby surface (for lower temps) over the past 18 months, and kind of became addicted to sex, but always using cialis.

I'm just not sure if I should quit the extracts altogether, but I don't drink alcohol or caffeine, and eventually would like to "moderate". Do you not think that extracts are "cleaner" since there is no plant matter? I can't smoke anything, and vaporizing is better, but still irritating. Live resin/full spectrum extracts if from a good source (no butane residue) should be much healthier. It's all about thc% by WEIGHT, so you can still micro dose tiny pinhead dabs, and get even less THC than a full BOWL of flower.

Just trying to decide whether I should ditch all my gear, and when I return go back to flower, since I never had this ED issues with flower. However, my flower withdrawals were absolute HELL, whereas now other than some difficulty sleeping, coming off of extracts has been a complete breeze in comparison.

Just curious on your thoughts.

Hello everyone

Day 91 for me today. Still having problems with anxiety. Some days are rough some days are average.

Erections haven't improved that much whereas libido has gone up slightly.

Penis sensation has improved slightly can also kind of get erection without physical simulation but thats only when i am lying down.

From before i would say i am about 60%. Let see how the next three months but if it hasnt improved i might go to america for treatment.
