After two weeks it gets tricky, due to "max capacity" and "leakage" lol

Really guys?? Way too much information. Why not PM this stuff?

Get a sense of humour! This is the ED thread, so if you can't handle it, and don't have anything helpful to contribute then why not just say nothing?

So, tell me how leakage and max capacity actually helps those with ED? Perhaps just talking yourself is what really matters. Do you think ED is humourous?

Are you really that bored that you have to randomly dig up my post from last April and then admit that you're too basic to understand the rest of the context of it? By the way nice ad hominem and strawman and pathetic attempt to get yourself attention when we've gone through this before. Bye now!

I'm here to offer help and support, not indulge myself. I truly have other things going on in my life. Try and just live instead of constantly analysing and approving others for indulging you. Life's great you know.

So Im at 18 1/2 months now; but that count really isnt accurate anymore. I took a toke (two hits of some dank weed) in June; and that sent my symptoms back about 3 months. So Im where I was at 15 1/2 months at this point.

The low libido is worse than it was before I took the tokes; but improving on a similar path. If the timeline is exactly the same, itll be another 2-3 weeks and Ill feel even higher libido; we'.ll see. But now at this point, things attract me and interest me; but Im doubtful I would be able to have sex as Im sure I have ED still. I have no trouble with porn; and I do get morning wood almost every day now; although it is not as strong as it was last June before the tokes. Ill see in another couple weeks if it goes back to how it was in June; I suspect it will.

Hello brothers, I have read each and every comment since the start of this thread and notice that people have had long recoveries like sparkfly since 7 months to 18 months now and still having ED and low libido which is really getting me anxious. I am 30 years old, started smoking a joint a day since 23 till 2015 where I smoked 2-3 times a week. Since 2016 summer, I have smoked 1-2 joints a day till 2018 October. Including concentrates which have maybe consumed total 15 gms in that period with 80% thc. Quit for 8 months till 2019 Summer and have been smoking 2-3 gms daily since then so for about 2 years of very heavy use with maybe 15 oil cartridges in that period as well. I recently started noticing erectile dysfunction when I couldn't get hard with a girl. I quit since 25 days ago and will never smoke again. Been having bad insomnia and wake up with bad sleep and can't sleep for more than 4-5 hrs. I used to masterbate 2-3 times a day and now have to stimulate physically while on porn to even get semi- hard. I feel I have 0 libido and don't feel like masterbating automatically as well without forcing to see if my thing still works. Found a girl but won't see her for 4 months due to COVID. I am really worried that this loss of sex drive and ED will be part of my life. Eat healthy since 2 months (Vegan), run 3-4 km a day, do push ups but feel really numb in penis. Nothing arouses me, even porn requires quite a bit of physical stimulation. Do you think I will get back to normal ever? I feel the dopamine, receptors etc anything in brain around sex that automatically stimulated is not working. Please do share your thoughts, thanks!

I haven’t read the whole thread so forgive me if this has been mentioned. If it hasn’t been suggested, I’d say take a break from porn and masturbating for awhile. I also was having difficulties. I gave up porn and masturbating for 3 months. By the end of the time period I was working more than adequately again. Porn and masturbating in excess can be it’s own addiction. Wish you well.

yes, give up porn and masterbation do help overall, but unfortunately this (in my experience) doesnt help you actually get better from weed-related ED any faster. Maybe it will if you were masturbating a lot, like you say you were.

Im at 20 months now, and have made more progress from before. As you probably saw in this thread, I had no sex drive for almost 8 months; then started feelign it a little inkling after 8-12 months, a little more 12-16, and so on. I still had ED all this time though.

Now I get morning wood most nights, and some days I feel pretty turned on, but other days its still very low. I know some fluctuations are normal; but everything is still a little low. But, I am getting closer to not having ED - last week I was able to stay hard with a partner (no meds) for some time but eventually went soft. But definitely improving.

The thing Ive noticed though, is that when I have/had low libido, having sex or masterbating doesnt even feel good. Its just meh. orgasm doesnt feel that great. I get distracted when having sex (using ed meds) and often think about other things, waiting for it to end. Its only in recent months that things have gotten better, where I actually really want to do it. For a while, it was just something I really didnt look forward to; and only did for my SO.

Thanks for the replies guys. Do the chronic Long term smokers feel any permanent effects? Like after 4-5 months of quit how are things? I am at day 35, still really bad sleep and no desire for sex. I used to Master bate 2-3 times a day get hard before even putting porn and now that thing is dead even while watching, wonder if it’s only during the withdrawals or will it always be like this?. I did feel morning wood one of the nights after a long long time, does that indicate anything? Getting my t levels checked soon but read so many articles on receptors being damped, low FSH, low LH and testosterone levels Which were also easy lower side when I had checked before even smoking pot when I was young, just worried that I did long term damage to my sex life. I have also not seen prom for 30-35 days but still no improvement in that areas with libido. How’s the recovery guys at 4-5 month mark? If I still don’t see improvement at that time, any treatments for that?

I've quit weed recently and also experienced what others are going through, which scared the crap out of me. I'd been a toker for about 20 years and daily for most of that time.

Fortunately, my symptoms have mostly subsided after about a week under 2 months quit. So far, barring any setbacks, I'd say I'm at about 85% my libido now. For the past year while still getting high, I did notice it disappearing dramatically which I blamed on my age being I just turned 40. I never did make the connection between that and toking up until this thread. Thank you so much for everyone posting as I did not find much info anywhere else.

The time to recover may be different for everyone. Hang in there...pun intended!
