It's been 70 days now. Last week was again an improvement. Anxiety is slowly disapearing, but still present. I feel tired, but much less than just a few days ago. Let's say I feel 50-60% of myself right now. Not particulary happy, but I'm starting to laugh at the jokes and general stuff I used to enjoy.
What I'm finding out right now is, if I use too much energy for one thing I cannot focus on other stuff.
My mind is still overthinking everything and that bothers me a lot. It's not as bad as before though. Mornings are still the worst part of the day.
The biggest problem is not libido anymore, this is improving, but the way I see things around me. 50% of the time is still - meh, don't care, or I fake caring about it. This is annoying and it's getting me angry - still!

But overall it is getting better and better, week by week, day by day...still I would like it to be faster. I really just want to wake up one morning and be like I used to be before the weed life.

Day 73 - Just when you think you're getting better, there comes days when you're just a mess. Last two days were horrible
:( Anxiety peaked for no apparent reason and it broke me. Getting better today though.

It happens. You’re gonna have some good and bad days. Hang in there, stay humble and take it day by day. Today is my 33rd day

In MA, they say progress and not perfection. Long as you’re making steady progress, you’re on the right track

Today is day 77 and I'm still feeling bad. I don't know what the reason behind is, but I'm feeling depressed, emotionaly numb, anxious...I was really felling better before that for some days.
I tried everything, work out, fill my schedule, meet people etc.. I'm a social person, but I just feel like I should stay home for some time and when I'm home I feel terrible and want to go out.
I really hate what is happening to me atm, but I cannot control it. I'm overthinking everything.
Hope next days gonna be better.

Finally reached 90 days! I feel OK, but have mental issues that will still need some time to adjust. Numb emotions, lack of motivation, everything is just meh. Overall I feel better, but these different phases and symptoms are just stupid. I have no desire to smoke again, luckily, but this withdrawal symptoms are just crazy. Had no idea something can mess with you so badly.

You may have already had ED but the weed was helping it. Contrary to studies you can find on google, weed actually expands the vessels allowing more blood to enter..meaning you will get a harder penis. I also noticed after I quit my dick was no longer the rocket it used to be.

Check other underlying things that may cause it too like diabetes for example. If it's so bad and it don't work and you need a kick...try cialis. I use it when I've been out drinking and smokin (cigs) and I'll be in for a long session of love making...lol.

Actually it's getting better and better. Today marks the 100 days and while my physical symptoms are dissapearing, my mental issues are becoming clearer. Right now I'm depressed, sad, have no motivation and have numb emotions. Some days are better than the others, but I think right now everything is harder because of upcoming holidays.
We'll see how it goes.

Mikabot any more improvements with your erections? I’m on day 5 of being quit, I decided to quit because I believe smoking weed has caused me ed. To much dopamine has shut down dopamine receptors. Thc binds to canibinoid receptors in your brain and these also excist in the smooth muscle of your penis. I also believe that any kind of smoke has negative effects on the cardiovascular system.

I also want to add that I’m 32 (will be 33 tomorrow) and on day 3 of being quit I was able to get a full/near full erection and have sex with my gf, today though I could not get a erection.

Do you watch a lot of porn and masturbate a lot if so you should check out the TEDX talk on Your Brain on Porn as excessive porn has a bad effect on the brain and can cause ED.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSF82AwSDiU

And relating to this check out the NOFaP movement on

I like the ted talk “your brain on porn”. I feel the nofap community is a little to strict with most members saying no masterbation and no fantasizing as well. I think porn could be playing a part but there are other factors I believe for me. I am currently unemployed and I realy believe weed has turned off the pleasure areas of my brain. I know lots of people can smoke pot for years with no effect on their libido but I’m going on 15 years of near daily use as well as other drug use like meth and crack. I was able to quit the hard drugs about 6 months ago and have allowed my self to smoke weed daily about 6 times a day. During the hard drug use I could literally feel the pleasure zone of my brain firing every day all day (just above my temple). Trying to diagnose this ED has caused my much stress as I cannot tell what my problem truly is.

Hey peepz!

It's been a while and I must say I'm much better now.
See my other thread.
viewtopic.php?t=106425

While I still have some minor issues, most of the ED problems are gone and they only return if I'm anxious or depressed at certain days.

Regarding the noFap thingie... I don't actually watch porn that much. So I doubt this was the issue.

In my case it was strictly PAWS causing depression and anxiety issues - which is now really subtle and only shows every few days for a small period of time.
I am now at 4 months and 18 days and things are getting better every week.

It's tough but totally worth it. The only thing bothering me right now is emotional numbness. But even that is getting better and I can feel some things are changing.

At 3rd month I was sure that this was going to last forever. It was really tough, but things are changing so there is hope. Don't give up!

Can't wait to see what happens at 6 months! :)

Cheers, Mike

I'd say my drive is about normal now. I got rid of all the legally obtained entertainment from one of those big websites a while back. Haven't watched anything a long time.. Even prior to getting rid of every single bit of it. Haven't even had a tv or working personal computer to watch it on for a long-long time either. Even though it was just entertainment, I made the decision and never looked back. I believe my issue was from quitting smoking. I'd bet the above video has some truth to it though. Hope ya'll are doing well in your recovery from smoking and things are working out
