I agree with Richard@DecisionSkills that taking a step back from the heavy and intense practice sessions. Practice is incredibly important, yes, but your brain also needs time to process the information. If you keep putting information into your mind without taking a break, it will have a hard time not only processing the information but also remembering it. A personal example for me is learning to play the piano. I would practice and practice the same part of song that was giving me trouble and would see very little improvement. I would walk away from the piano and come back a day or two later and be able to play the same part that was giving me fits much better. This is because it gave my brain time to refocus and process the information. Also, are you getting enough sleep? The practice that we put in during the day is important but what is equally important is getting quality sleep at night because that is where the information turns into memory. Sleep solidifies memory. Hope this helps!
