Hello loves. For years I've been dealing with self esteem issues. I always thought that I was never good enough. It was due to bad relationships, constantly being bullied in school, and so forth. I have it so bad that I could get a million compliments a day and still feel like bad about myself. My mind is always telling me that they are lying. One day I was watching this lady by the name of Joyce Meyers. She said a beautiful quote that sticks with me to this day. She said that "Hurt People, Hurt People" which is so true. If you have ever been bullied before, understand that the people bullying you, are going through something themselves that are causing them to want to hurt you. That saying that their is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You are amazing. You are unique. There is only one you. I still have my days where I feel a certain way about myself. It's a daily battle that I am learning to overcome. We can't allow people to have control over us. I have to constantly tell my self over and over again that I am worth something and that I am not worthless. I am here on this earth for a reason. It takes time, but if you are constantly telling yourself that you are worth something, then you will eventually begin to believe it. I hope I was able to help someone with my message.

Postby Anxious_mary_420 » Wed May 30, 2018 2:57 pm have made me feel better thank you..I also suffer from low self esteem at times probably due to a strange relationship with my parents as a child, I always felt like I was in the way rather than actually wanted. Don't have any siblings so was often very lonely too. I like your post so thanks for sharing. Clearly you are not worthless as you for one have just helped me and I'm sure you have done many many other wonderful things in your life to stay strong my friend x
