Okay, this is simple. You're endlessly miserable because you're endlessly selfish.

You can decide today that you're going to do something for somebody else, even if it's just giving them a smile as you pass on the street.

That's it, desperate. Do something for someone else. Think about someone else for a change. Never mind whether this experiment 'works' for you or not. Just do it.

Do you think the money you give them is life-changing? Or does it just keep them in the position of begging?

There are better ways to help people. Be kind. Make a connection. Realise how much you have to offer, and be thankful for that.

Yes. You seem to believe everyone else is doing better than you are. They're not.

You also appear to think no one else would welcome your company. Well, you're partly right. No one wants to be around someone who does nothing but complain. The fact is, you can stop that. You can look at the things that are right about your life -- the things you have that many people do not -- and be glad about that.

Then you show your gladness to other people. And you do whatever you can to lighten their load. This recipe alone will bring the right kind of people into your life.

If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got.

Stop being so obsessed with having joy, and you won't feel half as bad as you do.

Happiness is the butterfly that settles on your shoulder when you thinking of and doing other things.

What are you going to do today that will make someone else happy?

Yes, that's what watching porn and drinking alcohol gets you.

Help someone. Lots of people around you are suffering.

Your eyes are set looking outwards so you can see what's going on around you. They aren't for endlessly looking at the contents of your own head, except when you're sleeping or meditating.
