Growing Up

Postby WetToast1213 » Sun Jun 10, 2018 10:41 pm

I dont know why but seems like as I have grown up I think more about the future and it scares me. I remember when I was younger I used to be care free, now I think about my place in the world, religion, and when im gonna die. I'm only 15 and I'm already scared of my death, I don't know why either cause just a few years ago I didn't think about it at all. I feel so alone in this cause when I ask my friends they never seem to feel the same and it's starting to make me question if I'm the only real person on Earth.

It's normal to ask big questions about religion and our place in the universe as we hit adolescence but it sounds like you're especially influenced by these musings.

Do you have any trauma or anxiety issues? Lack of social support? What is sounds like you're doing is projecting emotional issues onto your everyday, existential strife, thereby amplifying it.

Manage your issues, then the loneliness you feel will take care of itself.
