Why do we come to this forum?

Why do we come here? We come here for support when there is none at home. I have read the posts. Some people are nice and some are not. being told you have cancer leaves a scar for life. Literally a scar. And when no one even sends you a GET WELL card, how does it make you feel? The sense of it is that no one cares. So-called friends that jumped ship when I need them and so called relatives like uncles aunts cousins etc do not acknowledge that I am still alive. Not know what is next or if I will have a recurrence, there is a life that hangs in the balance. And for no reason, should there be no Get Well card. So I have received very cruel misinformation on this subject in this so called idiotic forum. I am done but not without voicing my opinion. Remember what Michelle Obama said "When they go low, we go high." And that's exactly what I'm feeling here. People think I think I'm a Goddess? No, I just wanted some support and got nada! Good by. I will report this person on this forum. A man, who knows nothing about women's issues, hormones, the lack of having children because cancer stold my parts and he yet is antagonistic towards me as a human being.
This is why we have a president in the White House that does not care about human life. He is the same type. I am sure he voted for trump. Because he acts like Trump and he will pay for this. Not by me, but by God. God is watching and listening to everything we do. I do have a friend that is a Priest and he helps me when I can visit him. Who needs you?

What if what you consider the purpose of this forum and the nature of the support you want is unhealthy? The Internet is not without flaw. Had you not received support at home, pre-Internet, what options would a person have? They would seek support and comfort from their local community, not from digital strangers.

Just my opinion, but the Internet and the digital public square is not the right place for you to resolve your issues.

Perfect. Friends that you can talk with and visit, this is a healthy approach. I encourage you to seek out similar relationships.

I do have a few questions for you.

Do you care about human life?

More specifically, do you care about your life?

If yes, how much do you care about your life?

Do you care about and love yourself enough to do what it takes to get to feeling better, regardless of whether or not anyone else in your life shows that they have any care for you?

Your world starts with you. How you perceive the world is how you experience it.

Accept that you are where you're at right now, AND that you can also, right now, create a different trajectory for your life, taking it in an ever-upward direction. This can be the turning point in your life. What do you want?

We need to support each other at all times. I can relate. I’ve lost friends because of my inability to cope and had family members who wanted me institutionalized. My neurologist laughed at the last one. Please keep reaching out. If I had your address you would definitely hear from me because I know what it’s like to feel alone.
