Quiet voice would you recommend me a recording to relax on while I'm drinking my green tea?

That is taking these things personally, but being in the other guy's shoes.

You wouldn't be rejecting "him", you would be leaving a situation that no longer is of service to you. Growing requires that you leave a situation that is no longer of service to you. To stay, is to stagnate. Life is not stagnation; death is.

Depersonalize this situation, explain that this doesn't work for you anymore, and find a therapist or counselor who is a better fit. I'm sure he/she would understand—they are in the business of psychology, you know.

Tomorrow there is a session scheduled..what to do? Ignore the session? He will probably contact me..its also unpolite..

I came across this recording this afternoon, and I want to share it with you.

Self Talk, Paul Solomon, 1 hour 45 minutes. It made an impact on my consciousness. Thank you for asking.

Yes. it's impolite to ignore your therapist. If you're ready to leave him and find someone who suits you better, you need to let him know. You don't have to be apologetic, just say you want to see someone face-to-face and will be looking for a therapist where you're living now.

He won't take it personally. And if he did, it wouldn't be your problem.

If you can talk to him the way we 'talk' here, he's the man for you. You should be able to tell him, for example, if you haven't felt any kind of improvement since you started seeing him. You should be able to tell him the skype sessions don't do anything for you, if that's the case.

Your reliance on this forum ought to be a lot less if you're able to talk to your therapist about anything that bothers you. It's part of good therapy that painful memories, thoughts and feelings come up, and we can always talk about that here between sessions, but good therapy is relational. That means you can trust this guy to do the right thing by you, always, to the best of his ability. You ought to feel as though he likes you, and wants to help you.

If you feel all that, it's understandable that you don't want to leave him and start again with someone you don't know. Only you can decide what feels right.
