I remember when you could always find the money to buy clothes for g. How about you try loving yourself as much as you loved her?

Loving yourself means knowing what you need right now and how to get it, then going out and getting it.

Look in the mirror every morning and say aloud: "T, I love you."

Some people find that ridiculously hard. They look in the mirror only to see what's wrong with themselves, and fix it.

Practise looking in the mirror and saying: "T, I love you exactly as you are, and I always will." Do it as often as you can, see what contradictory ideas come up, shout them down and do it again until you can say it and mean it... and feel it throughout your day.

I know a man, a few years older than I am (that's old!) who tells himself: "I get better-looking every day." He's the most chilled guy I know, very comfortable with himself. And guess what? Recently I looked at a photo of him taken about 20 years ago, and another taken in August this year... and he's right! In his mid-60s he looks better now than he did then.

There was a great book by Wayne Dyer, You'll See It When You Believe It. That sums it up.

Whatever you believe about yourself is always true, no matter what the rest of the world says. The rest of the world doesn't live in your head.

You decide who you are. You can turn your life around. Get up and dance!

Not good things to say about yourself. Is that what you want to be true? "I'm hard-working and strongly motivated" will serve you better.

You haven't got a mirror? Don't you worry about going out with egg on your face? :P

buying cloths to g..good old memories..

Yes... and you can create even better memories now if you treat yourself as well as you treated her.

To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance.

I agree, desperate. Once you get It for yourself you don't have to spend your days trying to convince everyone else you've got the Answer. It either works for you or it doesn't.

You don't worship buildings you worship god there. Islam was found at a time when people worship human made objects..

I don't go much by history, I go with what I feel right now. That's my compass through life.

I have a challenge for you. Stop thinking about the past. Think about what's going right, right now.

I have a job
I have UF friends
It's a sunny day
I have money for coffee, and a cake if I want it
I have somewhere to live
a bed to sleep in
and the opportunity to do whatever I like with the rest of my life

So think about those things, and remind yourself you're luckier than many. Smile at people you pass on the street. Pretend you're a happy and successful man. See how that feels.

If you enjoy it, stick to it.
