Start doing what you don't like. Not the whole time. Not all at once.

shame is a powerful feeling. We don't want you to say words and not follow through. Make your shame work for you and quit doing it. However, its totally OK if you do it once a week, if i understand you. It won't hurt you like Candid said. But doing what you like much hurts you, even if it is attracting.

We have a quote in Arabic: Everything that goes beyond your limits turns against you.

It is not a command to do or don't. You have to do both, do and don't. You have to alternate. You can't chose just one. Its beautiful. Theres a hadith saying: Allah is beautiful and loves beaty. Another: Shame is of two kinds, shame of idiocy and shame of wisdom

if you can't resist it is because of one of two things: 1. Its beautiful 2. Its stronger than you and is evil. If you are hurting anyone including yourself its evil and you don't have a choise of doing it. If youre not hurting anyone, including yourself, its beautiful.

To do that you have to work on your inner world. Your external world is allright. Sick people in Islam have no obligations.

I have to work hard for something many people have as default.

You have to keep making things clearer. You don't think so well now. Find someone to talk to and meet someone you can be open with.
