Yes, if you're going to be drinking you need to have something substantial inside you. Assuming this is intended to be a social occasion, I also suggest that you sip your alcoholic drinks very slowly and alternate them with lemonade or orange juice.

You're doing so well on your diet, and you took so long to start it, I don't want you to lose all resolve. Bad timing, I guess.

I bought leek carrot tomato apple and banana. Juicer didn't accept the leek gave up on it but a little of it tastes awful to be honest. I mixed green salad apple carrot and tomato. Mix tasted ok. I'm still hungry though.

That made me laugh.

When you step down the amount of food you're eating, you're guaranteed to feel as though you could eat more. But then there's the result:

I feel like I have lost weight. My stomach seems smaller.

Feels good, huh?

In this, the body can be likened to a house full of junk. Suppose you're living in such a house, and you run our of fuel in winter. First things you'll burn will be the rubbish, right? The body works the same way. So losing weight always feels good (unless you've got cancer which let's assume you haven't).

You're going to feel so much better as the days pass!

What to do with green tea? I think I still need it. I'm not relaxed enough

As discussed before, green tea has caffeine in it. It's not a relaxant. Better you drink hot water with a teaspoon of lemon juice in it.

Candid would you recommend me another movie?

Did you watch all the stuff quietvoice recommended?

To be honest, my darling, you're inspiring me. It's been about 15 years since my last juice fast, and urging you to do it has made me feel hypocritical. I'll be joining you early next year!

Thanks for positive and kind reply candid..your supporting words mean so much. I'm on day five adopted to a strict juice fasting. Mental effects are subtle some optimism and feelings of energy indeed. You get used to fasting. I will try hot water and lemon juice thing. It sounds good.

I'm so happy to read all this! Don't know how you're going to handle your night out tonight, but now that you've started to feel the effects I believe you'll be able to keep going.

Even if you fall off the wagon at the hotel party, you've already experienced "some optimism and feelings of energy" and you know how to get those feelings.

This is so good to know. It's inspiring for me, and I hope for anyone else who's listening in to our conversation.

Keep it up, desperate, and Happy New Year! May this be a brand new start for you. xx

I liked juicing. This is just one day break. Tomorrow I will go on full force till I complete 10 days. After ten days there will be a consideration in which way to continue to consume fruits and vegetables.

That's brilliant. You had your night out and now you're back on track.

I believe the self-discipline involved in the juice fast, and the results you're already seeing, will boost your confidence and help you to take charge in other areas of your life as well.

This is the most optimistic and healthful series of posts I've seen from you in your 10 years on the forum. It's so great that you're turning your life around... and as I've said, an inspiration for me.

I was partying last night, too, and stayed over with friends. I got my drinking in quite early then switched to water, and just had a glass of champagne at midnight like everyone else.

Here's wishing a happy and healthy new year to our forum friends!

Thank you for your kind wishes. You are a positive friend and I'm quite thankful for that. Actually I'm not too optimistic for now life seems meaningless and going to work tomorrow seems hell to me. Deadlines worries etc. On juicing I'm back on track after one day break. Made my first juice .hope juicing brings positive changes in my life it seems it has done that to some people.
