Looking for proper nutrition after opiate addiction

Postby BigBrotherGrimm » Mon Feb 25, 2019 7:40 am

I remember this guy that was around here a couple of years back, preaching about nutrition to keep a steady mind. I looked up some of that stuff concerning my addiction to heroin- just had a one time relapse last weekend after 3 weeks-.

I noticed the whole last week that this relapse was creeping up on me. Because at first I couldn't stand the sugar cravings, then thr caffeine, then beer, cocaine and ultimately heroin.

I lost my focus because I am alone and leading quite a busy life while I am regaining my freedom off of opiates. Supporting friends... its still not enough.

Just looking for some advice for nutrition as part of the greater rehab process. I guess rehabbing is something you must learn like any other thing. Slippery slope but I wont give up..

Then again I am still a littlw fuzzy because of my dose yesterday so who knows how hopeful I really am...
But it was going good before I relapsed.

Sorry to hear about the lapse, BBG... although it's nice to see you back here.

You might find a reset is what's needed. I'm a big fan of fasting for all kinds of things.

See if this rings true for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLByUE2sJM0
