Is this a Reason to be Jealous / Angry ?

Postby ChristinaMSO » Mon Mar 23, 2020 11:20 pm

Years ago I was a camgirl on MFC and I became friend with a fan boy from that website. Since that, I always kept contact with him and during my divorce I used to chat with him almost daily. At that point I considered myself about having a romantic relationship with him and we talked about that. Later I entered in a new relationship with a different guy but didn't really stopped the contact with the fanboy from MFC. My boyfriend always seemed to be annoyed about his presence in my life but I did my best to assure him we're just in the friendzone. Now, two years later he tells me he became extremely irritated by the other guy presence in my life and he can not admit it anymore. I tried to explain we're just friends but he barely believes this. I don't feel like doing something wrong by talking with the fanboy from MFC. Is his behvaior normal of being angry about this? Should I stop talking with the fanboy if I want to save my current relationship? Did I do something wrong talking with that guy during all this time?

Your answers will be appreciated, Thank You!

Probably so (just my guess), when you define normal as what normally actually occurs in romantically-coupled relationships.

Probably so. But then if you do that, consider that you may hold resentment towards your boyfriend, depending on how much you care about this other relationship.

No. He knew going in. He just doesn't like it and can't keep it on the back burner any longer. He wants to make a definite change in the relationship, which means that your previous relationship is no longer in existence. The ball is in your court.

Yes. Males do not tolerate competition for reproductive rights.

Obviously. A better question would be why you would want to.
