I have some slight sleep disorder/addiction

Postby Pontius889 » Tue Aug 04, 2020 6:11 am

I think I sleep too much and its affecting my quality of life, the sleep is ruining me. I have to drag myself away from the bed... and when I do go back I oversleep. I need to stay awake, but for how long? Should I try to keep awake for as many days as possible, or try to cut down my sleeping hours gradually? I dont want to oversleep. The trick is staying awake, but should I limit myself to 6 hours, I wonder if that is possible?...

Outside of a physical cause I would suggest you need a routine. Set an alarm to get up and perhaps do some activity to get you going. Eat sensibly, drink plenty of water. Avoid things like caffeine drinks. If you have a purpose to get up for you will develop a normal sleep pattern.

Maybe you have a vitamin D deficiency? Or iron?

You should adopt a sleeping time in which you go to sleep at a certain time, there are times that we can treat ourselves to more sleep time. I love sleeping myself, but i wake up early to do my chores and things in that day, etc.
