Routine

Hello
I would like to hear how you fight or how you propose to fight against the feeling of your own inadequacy. Every day, work that you don't like is still locked at home, because now there is a regime of self-isolation. It turns into a feeling of oppression. Every day you know what you will do, because you have no alternative. How to deal with these?

Write, read, participate in discussions.

I sometimes think about others truly oppressed. Whether historical or living today it only takes a moment for me to consider those in cold, dreary camps waiting to die or be "reeducated". No internet, possibly no electricity, little comfort and no control over their future. Day after day they wait to see if another day might come. How do they find the good, how do they manage?

Then I think back to my own situation as I sip my hot coffee with a bit of delicious sweet cream. My fingers clack away at a keyboard as I communicate with people all around the world, including you. Yesterday it was a person from India and today a few from Canada. I sit on a couch in comfort, plenty of food, and no real worries. I have a bed, hot shower, and access to the digital world. Life is good.

Speaking of feelings of inadequacy, it could be worth trying to create something, something you could be proud of. It could be writing a short story or a poem. Drawing something. I mean, it could even simply be looking a cool recipe online and cooking it! Having things you can be proud of, your own accomplishments, no matter how small, will help you with inadequacy issues.

Trying to see my virtues on many occasions I feel the same but I try to focus on my short goals, that is, daily or weekly goals.
