4 Months

Postby Nelson80 » Wed Oct 21, 2020 2:39 pm

Its been four months! I'm adapting to living a life without weed as a part of it. Things are better, I'm not 100% but well on my way. The thing that helped me succeed finally was planning and preparing, and accepting. It was hard for me to face the fact that if I wanted to quit I would need to become a sober person before. I was so afraid of that but I'm okay with it now. I'm ready to face life without the crutch of weed or booze. There will be challenges but I'll get through them. Life is much better without that burden.

Hi Nelson,
Quitting something that you have 'relied' on is always scary because we wonder how we will manage during ABC situations. I always try and get people to realise they weren't born smokers and it was a habit developed. I'm pleased you seem to have realised that the only thing to fear is fear itself... the battlefield is your mind. Well done.
