3.5 months

Well after about a month of reading different stories, Here I am posting my own. First things first, this forum is a life saver. I remember telling my friend that I had no idea what was going on with me; about a month after I quit smoking. If it weren’t for this forum I’d probably think I’d be stuck like this forever( Still sometimes do).

I smoked high grade weed from 18-28 years old. indica only, and smoked wax pens too. Raw garden was my sh**. First week was pure hell. Night sweats, couldn’t sleep, no appetite, anxiety, headaches, and a lot more horrible feelings.

First month after quitting I had severe anxiety. I was scared shitless everyday, could not think straight at all. I just wanted everyday to end.

Month 2 anxiety continued but got a little better. Then Depression kicked in and my confidence disappeared.

Month 3 I thought things were getting slightly better but instead all of my symptoms piled up. Fatigue, low energy, brain fog, and no joy in any activity also kicked in. Pure hell.

These last 2 weeks have been a rollercoaster. I’d say 1-2 good days a week and 5-6 really bad days. My newest symptoms seem to be muscle tightness, fatigue, extreme anxiety first thing when I open my eyes, and still some pretty bad depression.

I have a friend that quit the same time as me and he’s perfectly fine. It’s very discouraging to be honest. I look back at old videos and pictures and see so much joy in my face, so much energy and life, i don’t feel this way anymore. Hopefully time does it’s thing. As I’ve read this many times on this forum. Good luck to everyone going thru it.

None of my friends had any symptoms after 2 weeks either, I was the only one who suffered after quitting.

Time will heal you my friend. All the best, hang in there.
