the management of desires.

I think that if one rigidly desires things, one stagnates and grieves or anguishes. On the other hand, if one desires things flexibly, one feels better.. one is without attachments.. it is necessary to be able to desire something and change the object of desire.. not having the object of desire generates anguish and frustration, psychoanalysts say.. that is why it is necessary to desire flexibly... that is, being able to change the object of desire..
