HUGE thanks to all the people who have read and posted on the topic of quitting cannabis.

I couldn't have done it without you!

Your thread has been the longest-running and most encouraging of everything I've seen in the Addictions forum, with jazzz (2008 to 2016) a distant second. I hope you and others here who are quitting or wanting to quit cannabis will continue the conversation on, newly set up by 9monthquit.

+1 to this. You can continue your post on, all you'd have to do is link back to the archive mirror so people can see previous posts and gain context! Here's the link to the mirror of your post wakinglife: ... ml?t=19212

7.5 months in and the benefits basically still don't even compare (it's not even close!) to my lifestyle and health before I quit. The only benefits now are from comparing to acute withdrawal stages lol

I thought this forum was closed but after a particularly difficult time with PAWS, I came back to remind myself of the benefits of being sober. Reading the past posts really helps with my own demons, 6 months clean and the fight goes on.
