Hello, and please help.

Postby Fackeffaced » Fri Feb 21, 2014 5:24 am

I am 23 and almost 2 months working. My work has a lot of stress and every time i got home I feel very tired. But even i'm so very tired I keep do a lot of things after work like hang out with my friends and playing online games. The problem is my body feels that i'm am in need of rest, a full rest after work but my minds keep telling that i should go out and do not rest. I'm a bit confused, did anyone here experience it also?

Meditation is the way ahead. Meditation when you come back from work will rest you and bring you down from the high.

Work can create a lot stress. You need to make time for rest. Rest and sleep will rejuvenate you. Make sure you get your eight hours of sleep.

Use your weekends to meet your friends.

All the best,

When your body feels you're in need of rest, and your mind doesn't want to rest, what does your heart know?

My heart feels confused. because it's both connected with those two. It's very difficult, maybe because of the stress.

I was once told to go to the gym when that happened...but you know what works for me? A walk...outside...I am lucky enough to have a park nearby, so I go walking. I have been trying to let the natural world get me out of my head. I found that staying in and playing games just got my head spinning. The fresh air helps me to sleep...really!

A few of my friends have been saying that I should take some pictures. Maybe soon...

My routine is usually to come home and have a nap. It's not what people will tell you to do, but it works for me. Sometimes my sleep at night isn't as good because of it, but once I'm awake the next day I'm not drowsy from a lack of sleep.

Just try what works for you.

The reason why you find it hard to rest, even though you know you need rest, is because may be you are in the middle of a change in progress. You might need to make certain important decisions in your life, or you might feel like changing something that no longer works for you as it used to. I suggest that you continue to keep what serves you and implement on top, your own rules self disciplining your raw instinct (Controlling) to run out with friends when you even know that to rest will be of good use. In that way, you could perceive the joy and harmony of relaxation when you most need, knowing that your friends are always there for you and you can work on setting the appropriate time to spend with them. After all, good friends that have fun together would probably suggest the same thing to you.
I hope this can help you. :)

I know exactly what you're going through, man. I'm trying to make a change in my life to alleviate that pressure but the stress of the big change is crushing my big change's progress. Now I'm scared I'm gonn have to put off the change which is gonna put me right back to my misery. It's stress on top of stress!

I also concur that meditation is the key. Take some time out before bed, or early in the morning to really "chill out" and imagine yourself as a calm being, especially while at work.

You need to tame your mind to give in to such feelings. Besides, you also need to decrease strength of these thoughts. You know you need some rest, but that's the last thing you want to do. Yeah, it sounds to me like you might be too alive ! At least too alive to consider slowing down ;)

Think of rest at the only way you'll be able to continue doing what you love to do. :T

1.Rest 8-9 HRS (As mentioned, rejuvenates the mind and body)
2. Proper Nutrition *Healthy blend smoothie* (Get your vitamins and minerals, this gives your body energy and your mind clarity)
3. Meditation (Relieves Stress)

Try those and good luck!
