Should I be concerned?

I am 18 years old. As a dancer, I've always struggled with body image and self esteem, and I was surrounded by girls with eating disorders for a vast majority of my life. When I was 16 this really began to set it. I would eat 500 calories a day, starve myself, and exercise constantly, binge, throw up, laxatives.. My boyfriend at the time saw what was happening and really helped me through it. Now I'm 18, and that boyfriend is long gone. I'm under a lot of stress and am finding myself resorting back to my old ways. The difference is that this time I'm not getting hungry? I'll go a week hardly eating, and then 3 or 4 days of eating way too much. I hate food, simply because I hate feeling full. Is this something I should be worried about?

Lack of balance and self-control are not healthy. It is easy to find out what a healthy weight should be for a person your age/height. Find out that weight is and then balance exercise/meals to stay that weight plus or minus five pounds.

You must eat balances and not to starve yourself .Keep a healthy diet combined with sports and avoid sugar bread and fat be persistent everyday and you will see results

Food is not an enemy. It's crucial, actually. And being full does not make you fat. Not if you are filling your belly with healthy good foods. When you're body is fueled properly, it can do incredible things. You will feel your best, you will look your best, your performance and ability will improve.

If you don't feel hungry, start by eating calorically dense foods like fruit. It has all the nutrients it needs to fuel you. Your body will heal with time.

I agree. If it's hard for you to eat food because you hate feeling full or just don't feel hungry, then at least make sure you're getting nutrients. But when you think you're ready, I suggest trying to eat small amounts of food but not so much that you feel full and increase the amount overtime so your body and brain can get used to eating again.
