Controlling Emotions

How do you control emotions?
I tend to feel them STRONGLY and can't seem to control them sometimes
Sadness is more difficult to control than anger maybe because I've had more experience with anger, a lot more. But if I feel really sad about something I feel like the world is ending and my life is gonna be long and painfully miserable, if I'm really angry about something I feel like if I saw the person that angered me die horribly, I wouldn't feel a thing. I even sometimes feel like I could kill them myself and feel no remorse at all. If something very, very serious happened to me, I'm not sure how I'd handle it. it would depend on the situation I guess, I dunno. Maybe I'd do nothing, but in that case the torture is internal. I'm my own victim.
so how do you deal with it?

You stop being your own victim and start loving and valuing yourself. Unless and until you're on your own side, at least some of the time but working towards 24/7, you'll go on collecting more things and people to be angry about.

So tell us what's great about you, and being you...

If something very, very serious happened to me, I'm not sure how I'd handle it.

Your default is ANGER, and I don't see that working for you. In the case of "something very, very serious", you'd be likely either to kill or to commit suicide.

You need help, mate, before it gets to that point. NOW.

try thinking of it like this..think of a crazy eight (basically an 8 sideways) at the top of one side there's your anger and your frustration and f*ck the world. at the top of the other side you've got your sadness, and uncertainty on what you'd do if something bad happened. ok, so now imagine feeling sad, you're at the top of that side, but then you swoop down and up to the other side, so now you're pissed off again. well now your angry and frustrated so you swoop down, over, and up. you get the point. unless you identify the situations that are causing you these feelings then you'll stay in that crazy 8 (hints the name) if i were you i would find out what causes me to feel the ways you mentioned and direct them off that track. win the game! hope to have helped and best of luck!
