4. After you know that, in order to produce needed chain of decisions all you need to do is recreate necessary emotional state.

5. The only question is what happens if there are other much stronger emotions present at the moment where you need to get the specific one?

To deal with it it's a 3 step process.

5.1 You think about the decision you want to make for half a second.

All that you have to do now is observe your emotions still and wait for them to shift.

As they finish shifting, use appreciation for what you've done and get on with what you wanted to do.

This is a very simple yet powerful way of controlling your strong emotions. It works almost immediately if you give yourself the proper transition metaphor.

In our school we were told to read lot of literature to get emotional and all. I did that but it didn't work. Then i google "emotional inteligence" and red a few works from Paul Eckman. I hope that this will help you.

I found another very powerful way how to alter emotions.
First step is to stand up and do a squat at ever decreeing speed, as you're doing it observe the feelings generated in muscles of legs. When you invert the direction ever so much slower the mussel will generate even more sensation. You do 5 squats like this.

Or you do 5 ever slower push ups against the wall in the same manner.
Or you use isometric pressure of your muscles in a way where you put palms together and push tightly. It also generates a lot of feelings.

Once you've done it, you sit down and just observe your internal sensations and thoughts. The previous exercises allow to place your awareness on your physical self much more easily.

Then what you do is you simply observe the feelings, they come and you register them with your awareness and that's it. If you'll use equanimity upon the emotions that will come their energy will start dissipating.
