Weed withdrawals and high blood pressure

Postby cryingsoul » Sat Feb 20, 2016 1:14 am

Ok so it's almost been 3 months since quitting weed. I do have some good days. But on my bad days my blood pressure is 170/100 and my anxiety goes up. My blood pressure was always normal before I quit weed. Does anyone else have high blood pressure since quitting?

In the first 6 months with your mood being everywhere and stress levels at points being quite high, I guess this is not too surprising. I never tracked my blood pressure but wouldn't have been surprised if it was high.

May be part of your body adjusting to being without cannabis.

My mom has a blood preesure monitor and I decided I was going to check my blood pressure and that's how I found out it was high. I have all the symptoms, the ear ringing, light headiness, vision problems. It all makes sense. The symptoms died down after the first month. But I know PAWS creeps up on me.

You are not alone. I was put on Bp meds 1 month after I quit. Still on them now 5 months after quitting. Were you ever able to get it down? Or is this a permanent cause of the THC???? I hope it’s better for you! Please let us know how you are doing!
